    Manfrotto Survey Winner!

Hi Guys, The Manfrotto survey resulted in about 163 responses over 3 weeks. While this is a good amount, we had hoped to get more than this. At any rate, Manfrotto were generous enough to present the bag to a lucky participant of the survey. The participant was picked at random using a random number generator and we are glad to announce that the Winner is Mr. Anup Puthan, also known on flickr as Lensist.

Congratulations, Anup – hope you enjoy the bag!

    HPC – Manfrotto Survey

Manfrotto, the world-renowned manufacturer of tripods and other support equipment, wants to take some
inputs from us at Hyderabad Photography Club to gauge the market for their tripods and other products. For this, they have requested the HPC Administrators (i.e, us!) to conduct a brief survey of about 20 questions in which you are requested to participate. If at least 500 people participate, the names will be used in a lottery and the winner will get a free Manfrotto gadget bag, the first ever made by Manfrotto!!

This is a very smart black colored gadget bag with Ferrari red interior and accents(you should expect this from an Italian company!). It has pockets galore – most of them meshed to help you see what is inside. This bag has two unique design features. First, it has a fully integrated tripod compartment i.e, the tripod goes into its own section and does not hang outside. Secondly, the camera compartment, which can accommodate a medium sized D-SLR with a kit lens attached (plus an extra lens like a 50mm, or a small
telephoto zoom or a macro lens) is completely removable. Hence, it can be used alone when you don’t want to carry the whole kit! Apart from this you can use this bag as a backpack or as a shoulder bag. When
used as the latter, the back pack straps can be stowed away very neatly. The multiple ways that the bag can be used shows the attention to detail in the design. Finally there is a well padded laptop
compartment too. In spite of all the features the bag is reasonably lightweight for more comfort.

You may take the survey by clicking the following link: Survey. Please use your real names and leave at least one form of contact information in order to be contacted for a prize.
